The Tour de France Grand Départ took place in the Dutch city of Utrecht last year with the first stage consisting of a 13.8 kilometre prologue won by Rohan Dennis ahead of Tony Martin and Fabian Cancellara at a record average speed of 55.45 kilometres per hour.
The second stage was a 166 kilometre stage from Utrecht to Zeeland along the North Sea coast won by André Greipel as crosswinds split the peloton to bits.
The organisers of the Grand Départ have now released this video of highlights of the opening two days of last year’s Tour.
