Bikes belonging to Team Tibco-SVB were stolen prior to the second round of the Women’s World Tour, the Ronde van Drenthe which took place yesterday.

The US team was staying at Hotel Wapser Herberg in Wapse, Netherlands, and four Fuji bikes belonging to the team were stolen overnight.

However, despite their misfortune the team consisting of Lauren Stephens, Emily Collins, Lauren Hall, Lauren Komanski, Joanne Kiesanowski and Brianna Walle were able to line up at the start.

Ed Beamon posted the following information which provides a description of the missing bikes:

“Ripped off.!! Bandido gang robbed us Team TIBCO in Wapse Netherlands last night prior to the Ronde van Drenthe WWT race. They made of with 4 Fuji Bikes race bikes with Reynolds Cycling Aero 46 race wheels and Verve Cycling Infocrank power meter cranks. Keep your eye out for Fuji Supreme and Fuji SL bikes in Team Ticbo-Silicon Valley Bank colors as below.”
