Following on from the publicity arising from a video of a road rage incident in the UK which went viral last week, Metropolitan police in Havering, Essex tweeted: “The suspect in this matter has been charged with a public order offence”.
When police in Havering became aware of the video, CID spoke to the cyclist involved, but he told them he did not want to pursue the case. The cyclist involved had posted the video to Youtube but had then taken it down but it was subsequently reposted by another YouTube user.
On Friday, 16 January a 34-year-old man attended an east London police station and was interviewed under caution.”
