Stage 1 of the Tour of Qatar took the riders from Dukhan – Sealine Beach over 136km. We are expecting to see some great battles over the coming week involving many of the best sprinters in the world,
Marcel Kittel (Giant Alpecin) is arguably the fastest man in the world, but will have to see off challenges from the likes of Tom Boonen (Etixx Quick Step), Alexander Kristoff (Katusha), Gerald Ciolek, Theo Bos (MTN-Qhubeka), Heinrich Haussler (IAM Cycling), Sam Bennett (Bora Argon 18) and the French pair of Nacer Bouhanni (Cofidis) and Arnaud Démare (FDJ).
