The 4th edition of Redbull Velodux took place in Switzerland recently with over 300 cyclists taking part in the urban cyclocross race.

The riders start with a 200 metre run to grab their bikes before setting off on a challenging and unusual course which included a section through a castle in the village of Estavayer-le-lac on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.

The riders also faced varying terrain including cobbles, sand, rocks, grass, stairs and a water section.

Lars Forster and Nicola Rohrbach won the Madison-style event with Lukas and Matthias Fluckiger taking second and Matthias Stirnemann and Andri Frischknecht finishing third.

Also lining up were some recognisable names from Swiss cycling such as Fabian Cancellara, Pascal Richard and Laurent Dufaux. Cancellara partnered Patrick Seabase and the pair finished in 25th place.
