Team Sky have announced their starters for each of the races that form the Challenge Ciclista a Mallorca. The races will see a number of new signings start their first race for the British team, namely Leopold König, Elia Viviani and Andy Fenn.
Philip Deignan is set to start in the Trofeo Serra de Tramuntana this Friday and the Trofeo Muro the following day. The two races that he’s competing in are the days that will suit the climbers.
It had also been expected that Bradley Wiggins would also make his season start on the island, but is now expected to start at the Tour of Qatar instead.
