Peter Sagan may be well known for his bike handling skills, but his ice hockey skills do not appear to be at quite the same level based on this video posted by Žilinský večerník.

The double World Champion was making a guest appearance this evening at the game between his hometown club MSHK Zilina and HKM Zvolen in the Slovakian league.

Sagan and the Zilina team wore special jerseys with rainbow bands to mark his World Championships win. In addition, Sagan wore the number 90 to mark the year of his birth. His brother Juraj and fellow cyclist Michal Kolar also made an appearance on the ice.

In the video below, Sagan can be seen crashing to the ice after scoring against the Zvolen goalkeeper. However, he saw the funny side as he posted on his Facebook page afterwards: “I think I made the right choice to go into cycling.”
