Even though he was riding up one of the toughest climbs of this year’s Tour de France, Peter Sagan (BORA-hansgrohe) still found time to sign an autograph for a fan on yesterday’s fourteenth stage

In footage posted on Twitter, a fan can be seen running alongside the green jersey wearer on the summit finish of the Tourmalet and hands Sagan a pen and a copy of his autobiography My World. The former World Champion duly signs the front cover before handing the book back.

Sagan went on to finish in 146th place on the stage, 25′ 53″ behind stage winner Thibaut Pinot (Groupama FDJ). The Slovakian rider is looking to break the record for the number of points classification wins at the Tour and goes into the final week with a significant lead over second-placed Sonny Colbrelli (Bahrain Merida).
