Peter Sagan is known for amongst other things, his great bike handling skills. However, even the green jersey winner doesn’t always get it right.

Sagan was taking part in a post-Tour criterium in Aalst in Belgium when he got a little over-enthusiastic when popping a wheelie.

He had just crossed the line to claim the win when he did his trademark wheelie. However, he pulled his front wheel up a bit more than he should have and came off the bike, landing on his behind.

At least it doesn’t look like he did himself any kind of injury, except for damaging his pride. We’re sure that the nice fat pay cheque he takes home from the crit will help to lessen any embarrassment.

And here is a second angle of the fall
