There was a bad crash in Milan-San Remo with less than 35 kilometres remaining which took out a number of riders including Chris Juul-Jensen (Tinkoff-Saxo). The Co. Wicklow born rider looked to have a cut to his forehead and seemed badly shaken, but hopefully is not too badly hurt.

A 23-year-old man, Shane Fitzgerald, of Newmarket, Co Cork, has been found guilty by a jury of dangerous driving causing the death of a 42-year-old father Paud O’Leary in July 2012.
