Once again ORICA-GreenEDGE have decided to overcome the ban placed on them from using Giro d’Italia footage by the race organisers by recreating highlights of the race in an alternative and surreal way.
The latest edition of Backstage Pass features a combination of animation, kids on bikes and toys to show what’s been happening in the race. One boy even plays the part of a directeur sportif.
Caleb Ewan is represented by a stuffed parrot, Vincenzo Nibali by a plastic shark and even unruly spectators get a mention.
