This onboard footage is from yesterday’s twentieth stage of the Giro to Sestriere. It features riders making their way up the graveled climb of the Colle delle Finestre and then the descent towards the finishing climb of Sestriere.
The video is a compilation of clips from both forward and rear-facing cameras from various riders rather than the normal footage from just one rider.
It was a very exciting stage, as race leader Alberto Contador was left behind by his nearest rivals on the Finestre, and looked in danger of losing a significant amount of time. He rallied though to limit his losses and maintain his hold on the pink jersey for today’s final stage to Milan, which should be a formality. Fabio Aru (Astana) took his second stage win of the race yesterday.
