Here’s some onboard footage filmed from the Slovenian rider Luka Mezgec’s bike during the closing few hundred metres of Stage 17 of the Giro d’Italia to Lugano in Switzerland.
The choice of Mezgec proved pretty good as the footage shows a really great view of how Sacha Modolo (Lampre-Merida) times his sprint well to take the win, following on from a excellent lead-out from a team-mate.
Mezgec of Giant-Alpecin finished third on the stage just behind Modolo and Giacomo Nizzolo (Trek Factory Racing).
