At Gullegem Koerse earlier this week, a spectator narrowly avoided being hit by approaching cyclists in the race.
The unidentified man decided to cross the road just as the leading trio of Yves Lampaert (Etixx-Quick Step), Tosh Van der Sande (Lotto-Soudal) and Greg Van Avermaet (BMC) rounded a corner.
Luckily enough, the riders avoided colliding with the man with Van Avermaet going on to take the win.
Why do they do this? You’d think as a bike fan/spectator, one would know better.
