Movistar mechanic builds a bike blindfolded

We’re not really sure what the purpose of this video is other than to showcase the skills of one of the mechanics from the Movistar team.

In the video, the mechanic builds one of the team bikes from scratch, including fitting the bottom bracket and chainset, forks, headset and handlebars, routing the cables and seemingly setting the saddle to the required height.

If the bike did run smoothly at the end, then it’s a pretty impressive feat.

We’re also not really sure why the riders were also blindfolded by the way.
