Matt Brammeier, who was announced yesterday as a new signing for MTN Qhubeka is set to start his season in Australia. He has been named as one of the team’s starters in the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

The UCI 1.1 race takes place in Geelong, along part of the course of the 2010 UCI World Road Championships where Brammeier put in a great ride.

Sprinters Matt Goss and Tyler Farrar are also down to start. Following on from that race, the team will then take part in the UCI 2.1 Herald Sun Tour in Victoria from February 4th to the 8th where Brammeier is also set to start.
