The latest video from GCN looks set to be part of a series which focuses on a number of high-profile cyclists and what they got up to after their cycling careers finished.

The cyclists featured in the first video are Evgeni Berzin, Michele Bartoli, Andy Hampsten, Kevin Livingston and former junior World Champion Mark Scanlon.

The Irish rider won the Junior Worlds in 1998 in Valkenburg, where he beat the likes of Tom Boonen, Fabian Cancellara, Filippo Pozzato, Frank Schleck and Bradley Wiggins. He subsequently signed for the Rabobank development squad and then the ill-fated Linda McCartney team.

Scanlon finally made the breakthrough to the pro ranks with French team Ag2R where he took a number of victories and completed the Tour de France in 2004. Scanlon retired at the age of 26, but has since returned to the sport focusing on mountain biking.
