What makes a rider get onto the bike again and again, to ride lap after lap, to warm up and cool down? To rest in small wooden cabins beside the track, day after day for six long days and to let it all come down to the very final lap?

You get out there onto the track and you race. You learn that even accepting defeat can feel like victory. When the bell rings at the velodrome, fast or slow, strong or weak, win or lose – those are only categories. You just keep going to make your story.

This is the Maloja Pushbikers’ story of the London Six Day in October 2015 – and beyond.
