Note the single lane entries at each arm of the roundabout and single lane circulatory area…. thus giving room for high quality cycling/wide separated cycle tracks around the perimeter. Plenty of pairs of cyclists using the roundabout chatting as they cycle along and the behaviour of drivers is much calmer…….. Very much the opposite of an Irish roundabout where, very often, each arm of the roundabout has double-lane entries and cyclists are given whatever crumbs are left over……… We’ve a lot to learn from the Dutch.
