To mark International Car Free Day (September 22), a number of members of the Latvian cycling organisation ‘Let’s Bike’ decided to dress their bicycles up as cars in Riga.

The purpose of the exercise was to show the amount of space taken up by cars rather than bikes. It’s a point that can be overlooked by some motorists, that the more cyclists on the roads, the less space taken up by cars.
