Larry Warbasse is amongst the signings for the new UCI Pro Continental team Aqua Blue Sport and in the video below, the American describes his new race bike for the 2017 season – the Ridley Noah SL.

With a frame weight of just 980 grams, the Ridley Noah SL is a benchmark in aero road bike design. The frame contains new resin technologies and innovative layups that according to Ridley “create explosive power transfer at minimal weight.”

Proprietary FAST-Technologies employed on the Noah SL include:

• F-Surface Plus: Dimpled tube moulding allows the frame to cut through the air like a golf ball;
• F-Split Fork: A dual blade fork channels the air in and around the wheel and reduces aerodynamic drag between the fork and front wheel;
• F -Seat Stays: Lowered rear stays move them out of the airflow and improve ride quality.

The team’s bikes will be equipped with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 group sets and US manufacturer Knight Composites are suppliers of its race wheels for 2017, with the team to ride the full range of Knight clincher wheels in 35mm, 65mm and 95mm depths, built with Aivee SR5 hubs, Sapim CX Ray spokes and Schwalbe Pro One tyres.
