The Irish U23 development team – Team iTap – have announced a new partnership with Doormotion which will start next season, enabling the team to expand its international program.

The team have enjoyed numerous victories since their inception and one of their standout performances this season was Daire Feeley’s 7th place in the Irish Elite Men’s National Road Race Championships.

Feeley was competing in the U23 World Road Race Championships in Doha today where he finished in 57th place, 11″ down on winner Kristoffer Halvorsen of Norway.

The news of the new partnership for Team iTap was announced by Team Manager Jonathan Gibson who said: “With Team iTap going from strength to strength in it’s development of young riders we can now reveal a new partner to assist us in our journey. We are proud to announce our partnership with Doormotion for the 2017 season and beyond.”

“With Team iTap’s race program set expand for the 2017 season Doormotion will provide iTap with financial support to compete in these international events and give the young riders that experience lacking in the domestic racing scene.”

“This support is following on from our partnership with Primal Europe who will be providing all the team clothing for 2017. We will be announcing more news over the coming months and are looking forward to developing our partnership with Doormotion.”
