The Irish Talented Athlete Program (iTap) has announced a partnership with Kalas Sportswear for 2015 and beyond.

iTap is a vehicle used to run and promote a cycling scholarship program in Ireland for young cyclists who wish to become full-time professional athletes. iTap will run and manage a cycling team for these athletes through 2015, 2016 & 2017.

Their line up for 2015 includes the following cyclists: Darragh Bailey, David Brody, Daire Feeley, Curtis Gilmore, Jordan McGinley and Joshua Francis. Amongst the races they will be targeting this season will be the Ras Mumhan, Shay Elliott Memorial Race, An Post Ras and Suir Valley 3 Day.

iTap announced their partnership with the clothing company Kalas, who are launching its brand in Ireland through its investment in the development of young Irish riders. Kalas have launched Kalas.ie to the Irish market through custom club kits with its main business premises located in Naas, Co Kildare.

Kalas also supply Teams such as the Czech National Cycling Team, Swedish National Cycling Team, Kwadro-Stannah, ETIXX Cycling Team, KTM road-and-trail.com, team Joker and more.
