Irish rider Conn McDunphy has signed up for the 2019 season with CC Nogent-sur-Oise according to DirectVelo.

The 21 year-old rode for Holdsworth Pro Racing in 2018 and took a number of victories on the Irish domestic scene this year including the Lucan GP, the Leinster TT Championships, the Noel Hammond Memorial and a stage of the Tour of Ulster.

The former Lucan CRC rider was also selected for the Irish team at the U23 Gent-Wevelgem, Ronde van Vlaanderen Beloften and more recently at the U23 World RR Championships where he rode in support of Eddie Dunbar before going on to finish 84th.

McDunphy’s compatriot Darragh O’Mahony will also return to the French DN1 club next season. Amongst the riders who have ridden for CC Nogent-sur-Oise in the past few years who have gone on to professional careers include Adrien Petit (Direct Energie), Stephane Rossetto (Cofidis, Solutions Credits), Arnaud Démare (Groupama FDJ), Jimmy Turgis (Cofidis, Solutions Credits), Kevin Ledanois (Team Fortuneo Samsic) and Corentin Ermenault (Vital Concept).
