Race favourite and multiple national cyclo-cross champion Robin Seymour has had to pull out of tomorrow’s 2015 Irish cyclocross national championships in Swords, North Dublin.
In a statement he made to the race manager earlier today, he describes being extremely disappointed to be missing out on this years event.
Seymour said that he’d been very sick with a chest infection since Christmas.
Despite taking some time off the bike to try his condition had worsen, thus making it impossible for him to take part in this season’s event. The men’s elite event is now even more wide open with this news.
