French track sprinter François Pervis is a multiple World champion. In 2013, he won the 1km time-trial at the Worlds, and the following year, he retained his 1km title in addition to winning the Sprint and Keirin. Pervis also holds world records for the 200m and the kilometre.
Pervis features in this new advertisement for Alfa Romeo where the Frenchman races against an Alfa 4C over a distance of 100 metres at the Circuit de Mortefontaine with the difference being that Pervis had a flying start whereas the car had a standing start.
