Connor McConvey was one of three Irish riders to join Team 3M, a Belgian UCI Continental team over the winter. He joins along with Jack Sadler and David Montgomery, who was the final signing for 2015 and brings the total to 20 riders: 10 riders from Belgium, five from the Netherlands, two from England and three from Ireland
The team are set to take part in a number of semi classics over the next month, and McConvey looks set to start in Kuurne Brussels Kuurne next weekend.
Amongst the other races which they are aiming to take part in later in the season are the An Post Ras as well as Kreiz Breizh and the Ronde de l’Oise in France and Oberöstereich Rundfahrt in Austria.
The team have had a training camp recently in Cambrils in Spain, and this video provides a good insight into the work that went on at the camp.
