EvoPro Racing have announced the mid-season transfer of former US National Road Race Champion Jonny Brown to the squad.

“I’m delighted to bring Jonny on board the EvoPro train,” said Morgan Fox, Directeur Sportif of EvoPro Racing. “I feel, in the short time I’ve known him, that he is going to be a valuable member of this squad. At only 23 years of age, he is a super talented rider and a valuable teammate. He brings race-winning experience along with a humble attitude. He has a long pro career ahead of him and we are happy to help him progress.”

Brown transfers from Hagens Berman Axeon where he claimed some impressive results including winning the 2018 USA Nationals and earning a 7th place in Paris-Roubaix Espoirs in 2018.

“I’m super excited to be riding for a team with such an international roster,” said Brown. “Having so many different cultures come together always adds a unique bond. I want to keep proving myself as a worthy top-level cyclist and believe we can achieve good goals at the team.”

PJ Nolan, General Manager of EvoPro Racing said: “We are delighted to welcome Jonny to EvoPro. Already a big rider with enormous talent, we hope to be an integral part of his journey to being a star in world cycling.”

Another mid-season signing for the Irish team is Frenchman Rudy Fiefvez.

“At EvoPro we want to strengthen our ties with our French following,” said Fox. “We have great support in France and with our French support staff, we always look forward to our race program there. With the addition of Rudy Fiefvez and other French riders in the future it will only strengthen that bond. Rudy is a fighter and a winner sitting in the top five amateur ranking in France prior to the Covid 19 stop.

“A super strong guy with good experience, he has the mentality and toughness to win but also to help the team to victories. We are delighted to welcome Rudy to EvoPro and would like to thank the Oceáne Top 16 DN1 team for his development so far. We look forward to bringing him to the next level.”

Earlier this year, Fiefvez claimed a number of top tens including 8th at Ronde du Pays Basque, 6th at Circuit de I’Essor and 7th at Boucles de I’Essor.

“It is a great pleasure to join EvoPro Racing,” said Fiefvez. “I hope to honour the jersey by my strength of character, and I hope to live up to the expectations of my superiors! My goals are to discover the professional environment and serve the collective as best as possible to get the most results possible.”
