Registration for Etape du Tour opens tomorrow (November 6) at 9AM at www.asochallenges.com

Next year’s route is challenging with the riders tacking the 1,533m climb of Col du Chaussy shortly after the start. After a descent and a flat section along the Maurienne valley, the riders will then face the toughest challenge of the day, the Col du Glandon and Col de la Croix de Fer which tops out at 2,067m.

Next up is the Col du Mollard, which is relatively short, but steep. The final climb of the day is La Toussuire at 1,705m where the riders will finish. At 142 kilometres in length, the stage is not particularly long, but the difficult climbs will more than make up for the shorter distance.
