Entries have now opened for the Paris-Roubaix Challenge which takes place on the 8th of April 2017. Like the Paris-Nice Challenge and the Liège-Bastogne-Liège Challenge, the Paris-Roubaix Challenge offers amateur cyclists the possibility of getting as close as possible to a legendary professional race: Paris-Roubaix.

24 hours before the professionals, amateurs will have the opportunity to test themselves on the mythical cobbled sections of the Hell of the North.

There are three increasingly difficult routes on offer, on roads which are open to traffic but secured by numerous volunteers and motorcyclists. The various options cover distances from 70km to 172km.

There are two different start sites depending on the distance chosen. For the 172-kilometre route, the start line is at the mairie (town hall) in the commune of Busigny. A shuttle bus will run from the start in Roubaix to Busigny.

The 145-kilometre and 70-kilometre routes will set off opposite the Jean Stablinski Regional Velodrome in Roubaix. All three routes will finish with a lap on the mythical velodrome in Roubaix.

Registrations for the 2017 Paris-Roubaix Challenge must be made on the www.asochallenges.com website.
