NFTO have announced their team for the forthcoming Aviva Tour of Britain, and the 19 year-old Irish rider Eddie Dunbar has been included in the six-man team.

The race starts in Anglesea, this Sunday (September 6th) and finishes the following Sunday in London.

Directeur sportif of NFTO, Dave Povall, announced the squad on the NFTO team’s website, saying:

“After careful consideration the riders selected to represent NFTO at the AVIVA Tour of Britain are:

•Dale Appleby
•Ian Bibby
•Eddie Dunbar
•James Lowsley Williams
•Johnny McEvoy
•Rob Partridge

“The decisions for the line up are multiple and were discussed at length. Taking into account the performance of the team across the season so far and given the parcours of the 2015 race, we feel we are taking to the start line with our strongest six.”

NFTO Road Captain, Rob Partridge said;

“The rest of the team and I are looking forward to this year’s Tour of Britain. We’re heading into it with a strong, well balanced and experienced line up.”

“It’ll also be great to see how Eddie goes, riding it in his first year as a pro, and with the likes of Bibby onboard it’d be nice to go in with the aims of a good GC along with looking for some stages wins.”
