Dutch rider Laurine van Riessen showed some incredible skill during her heat of the Keirin at the Olympics in Rio today after she was pushed up the track towards the barrier by French rider Virginie Cueff.

The former skater had to ride on the advertising hoardings as Cueff pushed her to the very edge of the track. However, in a great show of skill, the 29 year-old managed to avoid crashing. Cueff was thrown off balance though and crashed.

Unfortunately, two other riders were also caught up in the incident as Spanish rider Tania Calvo and Olivia Podmore of New Zealand crashed although neither rider appeared to be seriously injured.
