First year junior David Conroy (DLCO Scott) is ready to tackle the opposition ahead of the National Junior Cyclocross Championships. The 16 year old talked about his second place in the last round of the Fixx Cyclocross Cup, his National Trophy series debut at Milton Keynes and his form in the run up to the National Championships next month.

Conroy had a very impressive result in Milton Keynes recently when he finished in 13th position in a support event for the World Cup events taking place. The race was part of the British National Trophy series.

Here’s an interview with Conroy after the recent race at Punchestown, where he put up a good performance against more experienced opposition. He talks about how that race went, his recent trip to Milton Keynes and his hopes for a good performance at the forthcoming National Championships.

The young rider is in good form ahead of the race and is hopeful of a good result saying, “I’m feeling confident. I’ll definitely give it a go and top three is well within my sights.”
