Dan Martin has spoken to Cyclingnews about his responsibility within the Cannondale Garmin team and his move up to a leadership role within his team.
“We’ve got an openness to new ideas. We work well as a team,” he says of his new merged Cannondale Garmin squad. He then goes on to talk about the experience that he can provide to younger guys on the team.
Regarding his role as a team leader, he says “It’s a role I can step into without any problem,” according to the Irishman.
