A cyclist in Spain had a lucky escape when he narrowly avoided being hit by a truck which was being driven on the wrong side of the road.
Jordi Pereira tweeted a video of the incident yesterday which shows how close he came to being hit as he rounds a bend on a descent. The white Iveco truck was clearly on the wrong side of the road and left Pereira with just a narrow gap as he came close to hitting the barriers.
Pereira doesn’t indicate where the incident took place, but he lives in Avinyonet de Puigventós in Catalonia, close to the French border. He later confirmed that he has reported the incident to the police.
