This isn’t the first time that this has happened, and undoubtedly won’t be the last. On yesterday’s stage of the Tour of Croatia, a rider from the Rusvelo team sprinted for the finish line and had no real challengers as he celebrated his “win”.
Unfortunately for the cyclist, there was still a lap to go. He only seems to have realised as the bunch continued on it’s way.
