Red Bull Velodux took place at the weekend, and this video from the unique race shows the course that the riders faced. The race can be best described as an urban cyclo-cross through the streets of Estavayer-le-Lac in Switzerland.

The video was filmed by downhill rider Claudio Caluori along with top cyclo-cross racer Tim Johnson. Both riders took part in the race along with other recognisable names including Michael Albasini of Orica-GreenEdge and BMC’s Danilo Wyss.

The course included numerous obstacles and the riders had to climb 104 steps on each lap. The race was contested by two-man teams.

Victory went to Switzerland’s Lukas Winterberg and Nicola Rohrbach, ahead of Simon Andreassen and Sebastian Carstensen of Denmark with Lukas and Matthias Fluckiger taking third.
