Training at World Track Champs shutdown to allow UCI President to ride.
Riders were asked to leave the track as training on the track was suspended for one hour so UCI president Brian Cookson could ride on the track. Riders who could have used that time to get familiar with the boards at the velodrome were confined to the warm up area.

The rider looks as though he got a nudge and went down quite heavy but to make matters worse he collided with the opening of the barrier which separates the bikes from the center of the track.
