First on-bike camera footage of the road season at the Tour Down Under

Jeremy Roy of the FDJ.fr team had a camera mounted on his bike for Stage 1 of the Tour Down Under from Tanunda to Campbelltown. Roy was in the bunch which was in pursuit of the four man breakaway. They were unsuccessful in their attempt as one of the breakaway group, Jack Bobridge hung on to win.

Irish Government to make it illegal for children to cycle on the footpath

The website irishcycle.com is reporting today that new plans to enforce the current law which prohibits cyclists from using the footpaths and introduce on the spot fines won't exclude children. Minister Paschal Donohoe (Fine Gael) was quoted saying “I do not believe that a change in the law to allow some cyclists to use footpaths is an appropriate response.”...
