The An Post Chain Reaction team were one of the UCI Continental teams invited to Kuurne Brussels Kuurne yesterday where they had the opportunity to test themselves against many World Tour teams.
Xandro Meurisse managed to get into the main break of the day, and did well to hang on with the leaders when his group were caught.
Mark Cavendish (Etixx Quick Step) took the win in a bunch gallop. Sean Downey was the best of the An Post team in 30th place finishing in the same time as Cavendish. Meurisse was the only other finisher in 98th position, 1’55” down.
