Earlier this week, the Westrozebeke pro kermesse took place in Belgium and the 168-kilometre race was won by Jasper Bovenhuis (An Post Chain Reaction) ahead of Tijnen Eising (Metec-Tkh Continental Cycling) and Félix Pouilly (Team Roubaix-Lille Métropole) after a sprint from a small breakaway group.
This short film (in French) from Jean-Michel Guidez shows what the carnival atmosphere is like at these kermesses as spectators down beers and place bets on the race.
Two French teams (HP BTP-Auber 93 et Roubaix-Lille Métropole) lined up in the race and this shows the race from their perspective.
