Bahrain-Merida unveiled their 2018 jersey today and the team have retained a similar kit to this year.

The jersey is still predominantly red with blue stripes on the front. The blue stripes represent the name of the country Bahrain which in Arabic means “between two seas.”

The name Bahrain is written in gold colour, gold being the royal colour, while Merida is written in white.

The flag of Bahrain moved this year from the collar to the back of the jersey and this year the Arabic pattern is featured on the back of the jersey as well which the team say is to help their Sports Directors differentiate their riders in peloton from the other red teams.
