UCI Pro Continental team Aqua Blue Sport recently launched a series of Pro Performance Training Camps offering cyclists the opportunity to ride alongside and learn from the team’s riders.

Spaces on the camps are limited to just twenty people and according to the team, the camps offer the opportunity to optimise your personal performance but also get behind-the-scenes insights into the mechanics of a top-level racing team, and the psychology of a professional athlete.

The intensive training camps will provide those who sign up with tips on training, nutrition, conditioning, recovery, riding skills and more.

The first camp takes place in Altea, Spain from May 24th – 28th, inclusive, then Mallorca, Spain from July 19th – 23rd and Yorkshire from September 14th – 17th.

In addition, the team has also announced details of the Pro Race Experience at the Tour de Suisse. The two-person package consists of two guest places in the Aqua Blue Sport team vehicles for two successive stages – one guest will travel with the Sporting Director and team mechanic in one team car for the first of the two allocated stages, and the second guest will travel with the soigneur team to the feed zone and finish line. The guests will alternate places on the second of the chosen stages.

Guests will also meet key Aqua Blue Sport backroom staff including sporting and performance directors, mechanics and soigneurs, be introduced to the riders, allowed to view and use the facilities on the team bus, stay in the race hotel and dine with the riders and staff as guests of the team and receive team mementoes including a signed Aqua Blue Sport jersey.
