A company in Japan have developed a solution to try and address the problem of drunk cycling. It’s a bike lock which detects alcohol on the breath of a cyclist when they are about to unlock their bike. An alert is then sent to the pre-registered partner’s smartphone, who can they try and persuade the person from cycling.
