A cyclist in Adelaide, South Australia has posted footage filmed with a GoPro camera of a close encounter which took place recently with a kangaroo.
Peter James Roberts posted the video showing a group cycling along Frank Barker Road in Humbug Scrub north of Adelaide, when the kangaroo leaps across the road.
The kangaroo clips the helmet of Michael Bland who is cycling behind Mr. Roberts, before landing and bouncing off into the scrub. Neither the cyclist nor the kangaroo were hurt in the encounter.
