Cyclists staged a ‘Die-In’ in London on the 29th of June where cyclist Ying Tao, 26, was killed in a crash involving a tipper truck while cycling near the Bank of England in The City of London on Monday morning, 22 June. She was the second cyclist to be killed on the roads Within 36 hours. On the Sunday, Clifton James, 60, was killed in a collision involving a car in Harrow while he was cycling home.

The ‘Die-In’ is a peaceful form of protest used by cyclist to highlight very dangerous junctions and also as a vigil to remember the fallen fellow cyclist. About 600 people took part in Monday’s event to remember Ying Tao.
