Kondo Machine is a company known for making specialised parts for high-end car brands such as Rolls-Royce. They have now turned their attention to the bike market and have produced these Gokiso wheels that have so little friction that they can spin on a test jig for six minutes (video below testing the front hub, fast forward but do watch the end) which compares to a minute and a half of other top end wheels. It took their engineers six months to develop the shock absorbing axles, which are made of a blend of lightweight and durable carbon fiber and titanium. To date after four years in production just 30 sets have been sold. So if you want to be in an elite club these are the wheels for you.
