The peloton at Liège-Bastogne-Liège today will face ten categorised climbs over the course of the 258-kilometre race with numerous uncategorised climbs also.

The riders will face the first hill after seventy kilometres of racing – Côte de La Roche en Ardenne (2.8 kilometre-long climb at 6.2%). Due to road works, the race won’t pass over the Côte de Wanne, Côte de Stockeu and Côte de Haute-Levée.

These hills are replaced by the Côte de Pont (1 kilometre at 10.5%), Côte de Bellevaux (1.1 kilometres at 6.8%) and Côte de la Ferme Libert (1.2 kilometres at 12.1%) with the three climbs coming within just 12 kilometres.

The riders will then face the longest climb of the day – the Col du Rosier which is 4.4 kilometres long but not particularly steep with an average gradient of 5.9%.

In the final fifty kilometres of racing, they will face four categorised climbs – Col du Maquisard (2.5 kilometres at 5%), Côte de La Redoute (2 kilometres at 8.9%), Côte de La Roche-aux-Faucons (1.3 kilometres at 11%), Côte de Saint-Nicolas (1.2 kilometres at 8.6%) in addition to the climb to the finish at Ans.
