The Bicycle Christmas Party is back! The crew behind it are thrilled to team up with the fantabulous Goldsprints DJs & Bicycle Roller Racing gang for a Saturday night extravaganza! All taking place tomorrow night in the lovely Back Page pub on Phibsborough Rd – a few minutes’ cycle from Church Street bridge (just beyond where Luas Cross City runs by the front of Broadstone station and before ‘Doyle’s corner’). The owners are very bicycle friendly and are happy for you all to store your steeds safely in the beer garden out the back.

The party will bring together advocates from Dublin Cycling Campaign and Cyclist.ie, also their colleagues in many of the city’s bike shops and, of course, everyday cyclists. The event is supported by Phizzfest, Phibsborough’s vibrant Community & Arts Festival.

DJ Seán, who played in the heart of the Bicycle Space at Electric Picnic 2016, will be looking after tunes and they will also show some short bike films and have a giant raffle – as well as a special competition for the dodgiest 90s cycling attire! The venue has a quieter bar as well for those who want to catch up and chat, as well as dip into the music and dancing.

  1. Thanks a million guys! Tomorrow night we’ll also be celebrating the news announced today that Dublin is to host the largest cycling planning conference (‘Velo-city’) in the world in 2019. This is great news for cyclists in Dublin and all around the land.
